In a second joint operation, Yemen and Iraqi resistance groups launched strikes on ships at Haifa port, targeting five vessels both in and en route to Israel’s port of Haifa.
Yemen’s Armed Forces, in collaboration with the Iraqi Islamic Resistance, conducted two coordinated military operations. The first operation focused on four ships at Haifa port, including two cement tankers and two general cargo ships violating entry bans to occupied Palestine. The second operation targeted the Shorthorn Express ship in the Mediterranean Sea, heading towards Haifa port, using drones with precise accuracy.

This announcement followed earlier operations against the ‘Transworld Navigator ship’ in the Arabian Sea and the USS Eisenhower aircraft carrier. The USS Eisenhower, struck multiple times in recent months, received orders to withdraw from the region, reportedly for the second time since April.
The unveiling of the new Toofan-1 drone boat, equipped with 150 kilograms of explosives, was showcased in footage released by the Yemeni army on June 22. These actions mark the second collaborative effort between Yemen’s Sanaa government Armed Forces and the Iraqi Islamic Resistance.

Last month, Abdul Malik al-Houthi, leader of Yemen’s Ansarallah movement, conversed with Iraq’s Kataib Hezbollah chief, Abu Hussein al-Hamidawi, discussing strategies to counter Israel.
