42 Palestinians lost their lives on 22 June due to Israeli assaults in four distinct areas of Gaza City.
According to the Government Media Office in Gaza, the Israeli military targeted Al-Shati refugee camp, Al-Tuffah neighborhood, Shujaiya, and Al-Zaytoun throughout the day.
An entire residential block in Al-Shati camp was demolished, reportedly as part of an attempt to eliminate a senior commander of Hamas' Qassam Brigades, Raad Saad, as described by Hebrew media sources.

Mahmoud Basal, spokesman for Gaza's civil defense, expressed challenges in reaching victims in Al-Shati refugee camp, citing limited resources compared to the extensive destruction witnessed.
Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital received 38 bodies and treated 50 injuries, many of which were severe, as reported by the Government Media Office.
Basal also noted the uncertainty surrounding the number of civilians trapped under the rubble of bombed residential buildings.
Hamas condemned the attacks, labeling them as new massacres in various Gaza locations and calling for international intervention to halt Israeli actions.
Al-Shati camp had been advised by the Israeli military as a refuge for Palestinians from neighboring areas.
The latest Israeli assaults in Gaza resulted in the death of 101 Palestinians and injured 169, marking the highest daily death toll since early June.
